Good Morning my friends.
If you don't mind, I like to share my inspirations with you. What is good and what is of God we can't keep it to ourselves.
Sitting on the porch this morning, sipping on a mug of coffee, I've had time to meditate and pray. I'm thinking of the goodness of God. There are enough negatives in life to tempt us to hang our harps on a willow tree. Yet, this lovely morning I'm reminded of Gods goodness. The amazing quietness of the morning, the awesome cool breeze, the happy birds chirping, the vibrant green if the grass and trees, Oscar the trusty rooster crowing, the hoot-hoot of an owl, the cooing of the doves calling, the bright sun coming up, our neighbors, (it would lonely without them here) and the list could go on. I love the earth God gave us to enjoy. Simple little things. Then i'm thinking, what about a simple trust in Him? Why make life so complicated? I have circumstances in my life than can seem overwhelming yet, I can safely trust in Him. The focus doesn't need to be the circumstances, the focus is 'Gods got it" so I don't have to get it. This day, I choose to keep it all simple today, each step I take I know He will make a way. There are people that I would like to control at times yet I am not God so I don't have to. God's got them too. Whew!!! that was a liberating thought!!!! In the quietness of this hour I have found peace. I heard sounds of the world of busyness come to life and I will not be able to stay in this reverie forever however the peace of simple things can go with me. By the grace of God I can boot the negative out of my life and keep the peace in my life as I go about my day. Love to you!!!
